I'm Sharon
I'm a former Senior Scientist at Leica Biosystems in Newcastle Upon Tyne in the UK, and previous to that a Biomedical Scientist at Freeman Hospital and the Royal Victoria Infirmary. I've spent most of my working life looking down a microscope. It's time to see the bigger picture!
I'm now retired (early I have to say - I'm not that old!)
Ever since reading "My Family and Other Animals" by Gerald Durrell for "O" Level English Literature at secondary school, I have loved the idea of living on a Greek island.
